Preparing to board the Fox 2

Our lucky Year 6's participated in a fantastic morning sailing on the Fox 2.  Lyttleton Harbour was picture postcard perfect for adventures on the sea.

Students had the opportunity to steer the boat and hoist sails. They were instructed by some experienced sailors and learnt about tying knots and reading the direction of the wind.  It was a hands on learning experience!

We spotted a couple of Hector's Dolphins and enjoyed lunch in Diamond Harbour.  For many students this was their first time sailing and they loved it! Look at our gallery to see the children in action!
