Some school stationery requirements / replacements are available for purchase at the school office during the year.  The most suitable time is from 8.30am to 8.45am.

HOMEWORK

Homework requirements will vary with the age, class and needs of the child, within each team.  Generally Literacy and Numeracy will be reinforced, research will be encouraged and students will be required to develop healthy interests in inquiring and reading for pleasure.

Please be positive and supportive with any homework efforts and feel free to discuss any problems with the class teacher.

LOST PROPERTY

Lost property is located in a labelled cupboard in the entrance foyer.  Parents are welcome to check this if any school clothes are missing.

Please name your child’s uniform and teach your child to look after clothing and personal items.

NEWSLETTERS

These are sent home weekly, on Thursdays to keep you informed of school events.  Parents of junior school children in particular should check school bags daily for notes, newsletters, messages etc.

LIBRARY

We wish to encourage maximum use of the library.  The library is open for pupils during lunchtimes.  Our Library is fully computerised and we have a multi-media computer for children to use. Please ensure that school books are returned on time.  We recommend a cloth bag to carry library books in.

If a book is damaged or lost a notice requesting $10.00 payment towards replacement cost will be sent home with the child and a receipt will be issued on payment.

Each term Senior classes visit the Linwood Public Library while the Linwood Library visit our Junior classes.
